Chapter 10: Knock on Wood

People please don't comment on this blog i don't like it
"I'm dreaming about sitting by a river and a boat knocking against wood"

WATER! There we go again. More water. The theme is growing more and more prominent as the book goes on, and I like it! I think this is a foreshadow. I have a strong feeling that Aisha and Nadira will be forced to go somewhere via water transportation soon.
WOW bad blog super tired

  2. I agree. Water is a big theme in the book. I used that quote for part of my blog too because it is another sentence involving a boat and a form of water which I find fascinating. I think more sentences will appear with the same nouns and I think of it as a riddle to solve-what does a boat and a form of water represent when in the same sentence?

p.s I bet you are super tired with all the basketball and soccer. (Sorry the first half of the basketball game I felt like I didn't have the energy to sprint and defend-but I picked it up the second half.) I think it was because I didn't have a snack before the game. Nice 3-pointers!

  3. I agree with you and with Falcon. I think that that Falcon is right that this has signifacance like some sort of riddle that we could figure out. Even if its not, the reader can still interpret it as one! That the fun in it! i like your foreshadowing too, Zuckerman. Super sweet blog!
